Court upgraded, thanks to community’s support | Letters | Feb. 17

Thanks to the community’s support, the Municipal Court at Rolling Bay has been upgraded.

New solid-core doors inside, bulletproof windows and new safety locks on all outside doors. A handicapped bathroom to code. Security cameras in strategic locations inside and out. Also, a separate holding area for felons so they won’t mingle with the public.

There’s a new ductless heating and air-conditioning system, and heat recovery and air supply fans are being installed as per engineered and approved plans.

All work was coordinated between the owner, community and the city’s building department by Jim Kennedy – at no cost to the City of Bainbridge Island.

Tord Vestman,

building owner
