Thank you to everyone who bought tickets for the Bainbridge Island Historical Museum’s “Save Our History Raffle!”

We are delighted to announce the three winners, all from Bainbridge.   First prize went to Lou and Carol Fleming – a check for $4,853 equal to 20 percent of $24,265 in ticket sales; runnerup Beth Zona won a handcrafted bookcase donated by McKinnon Furniture; and third was claimed by Claire Gace, who received an Apple iPad WiFi 3G.

Because of the wonderful outpouring of support for the museum we will be able to continue our prize-winning museum programs, including the current Ansel Adams exhibit, “A Portrait of Manzanar.”

We are also excited to announce expanded hours in 2012. The museum will be open seven days a week (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday and 1-4 p.m. on weekends).

Stop by for a visit and/or become a member. Our Historical Museum is a very special place.
