Veteran’s Day ignored | Letter | Nov. 18

November 18, 2011 · 11:24 AM

In reading your last issue circulated on Veteran’s Day, I was shocked, disappointed and angered. In 24 pages of text, I found no mention of Veteran’s Day. There was no attempt to honor our Veterans who have fought for us, made us so proud and in some cases made the ultimate sacrifice.

In my opinion, a community newspaper should appeal to a cross-section of the readers they are attempting to reach. If ignoring those of us who are grateful and proud of our veterans is your agenda, then in my opinion, your circulation may suffer.
