Letters to the Editor

Recycling Big Bellies to be installed downtown | Letters | Sept. 2

We have reached our goal to have a permanent solution to overflowing garbage cans and public recycling on our city streets.

Thanks to our major contributors: Town and Country Market, B.I. Rotary, COBI, Sustainable Bainbridge, Waxie Sanitary Supply and Eileen Black with John L. Scott Real estate.

We also want to thank the B.I. Chamber of Commerce, Bay Hay and Feed, Black Bird Bakery, the Bainbridge Community Foundation, Columbia Bank and the many community members who have made this possible. The Big Bellies will be installed in the first week of September.

Els Heyne,

Sustainable Bainbridge’s

WOW Bainbridge committee
