Boy Scout Troop 1564, sponsored by American Legion Post 172, would like to thank all our island neighbors who again made this year’s Christmas tree pickup and recycling fund raiser extremely successful.

The money we raise supports our troop activities throughout the year, and the recycled tree chips are used by the parks district for various landscaping needs.

We especially want to thank the annual extraordinary support from Waag Tree Service. Despite difficult circumstances, they participated in our recordbreaking fund raiser again this year.

We also thank Prince Logging and Tree Service; Frank Anderson of Bainbridge; P.J. Owen of Bremerton; Penny’s Team Real Estate; Fairbank Construction; Agate Pass Enterprises; Paper Products; Sound Reprographics; Safe-way; Ace Hardware; and our sponsor organization, American Legion Post 172, for continued strong support of our troop.

Take a look at what Troop 1564 is doing at www.treerecycle.net and we hope you let us recycle your tree again next year.
