Schools Foundation gets a boost from Clickathon | Letters | Nov. 19
December 3, 2010 · Updated 2:11 PM
Thank you to everyone in the community who has supported our fundraising efforts for the Bainbridge Schools Foundation.
Our Clickathon campaign, which targeted our district school-age families and past donors, replaced the 21-year-old Phonathon campaign. As of Nov. 10, Clickathon has brought in $135,000 in donations and pledges.
On Halloween, with teachers behind the counter scooping free ice cream provided by Mora Iced Creamery, we collected $1,314.44. Also a special thanks to Jeff Brien and Lynwood Theatre for donating ticket profits from six showings of “Waiting for Superman.”
The foundation continues to raise money to fulfill our $500,000 pledge to the Bainbridge Island School district.
Our next big event will be our dinner auction gala on Jan. 22 at Grace Church. With 250 seats to fill, we hope you will consider attending our special event. Call 855-0530 for reservations.
This is also our second year participating in the One Call for All campaign.
Thank you to all of you who have clicked at www.bainbridgeschoolsfoundaton.org for kids or mailed in your donation.
