This past Sunday, as if on cue, the skies magically cleared and downtown Winslow filled with thousands of happy costumed children out for one of our community’s most treasured annual events: Trick-or-Treat Downtown.

Thanks to the volunteer efforts of a dozen or more members of the Rotary and Kiwanis clubs, the streets and intersections remained safe for two hours as crawlers, walkers, runners and riders went store to store and collected their treats.

Bainbridge Island Downtown Association thanks the many volunteers who ensure Halloween in Winslow continues to be a place where trick-or-treaters of all ages meet, and remind us why downtown remains the heart and soul of our community!
