As a Bainbridge Island resident and business owner, I depend on the Washington State Ferries. It’s not a choice, it’s a necessity. All of our Kitsap County’s legislators support our ferry system, some with lip service, and some with action. I’m voting for Pete Deboer.

Why? Because Pete supports our ferry service, not with lip service but with actions. Pete is the mover-shaker from Kingston who got the passenger ferry running from Kingston. In doing so, he overcame the naysayers and people who obstruct our ferries at every turn.

Our legislators have been “working” to get passenger service from Kingston for as long as I can remember. Pete got it done. He has demonstrated that he can be fiscally conservative without being socially conservative.

We need a lot more of that in Olympia. I’m voting for Pete Deboer, and I hope you do too.
