I am a Bainbridge resident, parent, taxpayer, and Bainbridge Island School District Technology Advisory Group volunteer.

I write to encourage voters to attend the Oct. 13 Taste of Technology Open House at Sakai from 7-8 p.m.

The event will feature staff and student demonstrations and interactions – attendees can expect to learn about the advisability of the upcoming BI Technology Levy Renewal.

Voters should attend the open house to learn why they should vote “yes” on the renewal, without which the School District will not be able to implement its 2010-2013 technology plan. Become informed; support the renewal.
