Bainbridge Island attorney Charlie Wiggins is on the primary ballot for State Supreme Court Justice. I would like to take the time to illustrate his initiative in his own community by noting his effort with Habitat for Humanity.

In the spring of 2002, Charlie created the Gavel and Hammer Society of Bainbridge Island, calling for the voluntary participation of local lawyers.

This informal group of lawyers contributed financial donations for building materials, along with time and labor, every Saturday for over a year, to assist with the hands-on construction of my home. (Photographs of this project in progress can be viewed at the Gavel and Hammer website).

Charlie Wiggins is a personable, down to earth candidate who is in touch with people. He has illustrated his leadership in my behalf, and is responsible for helping me reach my goal of becoming a homeowner. Charlie was awarded the Kitsap Bar Association Humanitarian Award for his efforts with Habitat for Humanity.

A vote for Charlie Wiggins – for State Supreme Court Justice, Position 6 – is a vote for integrity and leadership.
