William Yoshida

William Jeffery Yoshida, age 61, was born on Feb. 6, 1955, in Chicago, Illinois to Elmer and Mary Yoshida. In 1957 the family moved to Bainbridge Island. Bill graduated from Bainbridge High School in 1973 and later graduated from the University of Washington.

Bill was an avid Husky and Seahawk football fan and could often be seen wearing their apparel. He was looking forward to the remainder of the season. Bill enjoyed working outdoors in the yard rain or shine.

Bill was a positive, upbeat, inquisitive person and possessed the gift of gab. These traits served him well in his employment with NetReflector a marketing research firm.

In the later years of his life, Bill fought his way back from a benign brain tumor. Most recently he had to take precautions to avoid the development of blood clots.

Bill passed away suddenly at home on Bainbridge Island from a fatal heart attack on Nov. 4, 2016.

Bill is survived by his mother, Mary, of Bainbridge Island and brother, Gary, of Seattle. He was preceded in death by his father Elmer. A private service was held.
