Michael J. Hoffmann

June 27, 1943 – April 7, 2016

Michael John Hoffmann, 72, of Bainbridge Island, Washington, passed away on April 7, 2016 at his home.

Michael was born in Bremerton to Reuben and Mary Hoffmann on June 27, 1943. He was a graduate of Bremerton High School. He went on to Olympic College and was drafted during his time there. Michael was a U.S. Army veteran and spent two tours in Vietnam. He retired from Century Link after 32 years with the various telephone companies that preceded it. Michael was a great cook and loved to vacation in Paris and Hawaii.

Michael is survived by his wife, Mary; sister Maryann Littrell; daughters Darla Landes, Erika Snyder, Sara Faughn; and three granddaughters. He is preceded in death by his parents and a daughter Melissa Snyder.

Family and friends are respectfully invited to attend a Celebration of Life at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 18 at the Hoffmann residence.
