Jeanne Marilyn Jorgensen, 86, of Poulsbo, Washington passed away peacefully on March 3, 2017.

The funeral service will be held March 16, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Vinland Lutheran Church, 2750 NW Finn Hill Road, Poulsbo, Washington 98370.

She was born in Poulsbo, Washington on January 4, 1931. She graduated from North Kitsap High School in 1949.

Jeanne was married to Nels Robert “Bob” Jorgensen on February 17, 1950; they were married 62 years.

Jeanne was a homemaker. She enjoyed ceramics, gardening and sewing. She was also actively involved with the Daughters of Norway and the Ladies Aid of Vinland Church.

Jeanne is survived by her sons Sid Jorgensen (Lisa), Dale Jorgensen (Lynn), 5 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren, and other family and friends.

Jeanne is preceded in death by her husband, father, mother, sister and brother.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Hospice of Kitsap County or Fred Hutchison Cancer Research Center.
