Work party planned on new Bainbridge trail

Volunteers are needed to help with the finishing touches on the new Bethany Lutheran Church trail at a work party later this month.

Volunteers are needed to help with the finishing touches on the new Bethany Lutheran Church trail at a work party later this month.

The connection is part of the island spine trail which is planned to connect Lynwood Center to Port Madison.

The work party is 10 a.m. to noon Saturday, Oct. 13. Activities include clearing branches, light pruning and general clean-up. Volunteers should bring loppers, clippers, gloves, water and a snack.
