Cloudy weather late this week has chilled out Bainbridge a bit.

But all that’s about to change: The National Weather Service in Seattle says things will heat up on the island over the weekend.

Friday’s mostly clear weather will stretch through the weekend.

Saturday will be sunny, with a high temperature near 77 degrees.

It will be even hotter on Sunday, with a high near 82 expected. Sunny skies are forecast, and it will remain clear overnight (with a low around 57).

Come Monday, the temperature will continue to rise. It will be sunny, with a high near 84.

Sunny and clear weather is forecast through next week.
