Weekend weather report: Those lazy hazy days of summer | The Bainbridge Blab

Bainbridge Island will be blessed with sunny skies this weekend — but not for long.

Our hazy days of summer — from forest fires in the West — will return Sunday to the island. Or so says the latest forecast for Bainbridge from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Saturday is expected to be clear and sunny, with a high temperature near 76 degrees.

It will stay clear through Saturday night, with the low dropping to around 55.

On Sunday, expect widespread haze after 11 a.m. It will be sunny, with a high near 82.

Widespread haze remains in the forecast through Sunday night.

The week begins with a slight chance (10 percent) of showers and thunderstorms. Widespread haze and widespread smoke is expected for a mostly sunny Monday, with a high near 81.

The threat of showers and thunderstorms continues Tuesday — along with widespread haze — before mostly sunny weather reenters the forecast on Wednesday.
