Weekend weather report: Rain. Bet on it. | The Bainbridge Blab

Rain. And more rain. Followed by rain. And then some more rain.

That’s the weather outlook for Bainbridge Island heading into the weekend, according to the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Saturday is expected to be cloudy with rain likely, mainly after 11 a.m. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, and new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch is possible. The temperature should hover around 53 degrees.

Come Saturday night, the chance of rain increases to 90 percent. The thermometer will dip to a low around 49.

On Sunday, we’ll see more rain, mainly before 11 a.m. (the chance of rain is 70 percent). The day will be mostly cloudy, with a high near 56.

Monday has a 40 percent chance of showers, though skies may turn partly sunny for a spell, with a high near 55.

More showers are coming Tuesday, but Wednesday is expected to be partly sunny before the clouds return Wednesday night.

Rain is back in the forecast for Thursday.
