Weekend weather report: Let there be no doubt | The Bainbridge Blab

Bainbridge Island is in store for a wet weekend, no doubt about it.

Or so says the latest weather forecast for the island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Forecasters say the chance of rain on Saturday is 100 percent. Up to a quarter of an inch of rain is possible.

It will also be a bit breezy on Bainbridge, with south winds of 11 to 16 mph, and gusts as high as 21 mph.

Saturday’s high temperature is expected to hit around 52 degrees. More showers are likely Saturday night, and skies will remain mostly cloudy. A low around 40 is expected.

On Sunday, more showers are in the forecast, and the chance of rain is 80 percent. The day will have a high near 52; the nighttime low is expected to drop to around 39.

Rain showers will remain in the forecast for Bainbridge through next week.
