Weekend weather report: Get ready for a wet one | The Bainbridge Blab

This week’s gorgeous weather on Bainbridge Island will move into the rinse cycle for the weekend.

Sorry but that’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Friday’s increasingly cloudy weather will turn into a rainy Saturday on the Rock. Showers are likely on Saturday — the chance of rain is 70 percent and up to a quarter of an inch of precipitation is possible — and the high temperature is expected to crest near 53 degrees.

More rain is expected overnight (there’s a 50 percent chance of showers). The overnight low is expected to hover around 45.

On Sunday, expect to see more showers and a high near 55. It will stay cloudy, and the chance of rain will persist overnight.

Looking ahead, the rain will stick around through Monday and Tuesday before sunshine returns Wednesday.
