Weekend weather report: Carry on my wayward sun | The Bainbridge Blab

Friday’s absolutely gorgeous sunny weather on Bainbridge Island will disappear for the weekend.

Be prepared for a weekend with rain — that’s the latest forecast from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

But don’t you cry no more. The chance of precipitation is actually low, and there is a chance of sun Saturday before full-out sunny weather returns to the Rock on Tuesday.

Here’s the breakdown:

Saturday will see a 20 percent chance of showers after 11 a.m. The day is expected to be partly sunny, with a high temperature near 54 degrees.

Saturday night, the chance of showers increases to 30 percent. It should be mostly cloudy, with a low around 38.

Come Sunday, there is a 30 percent chance of showers. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 54.

The new week is expected to start with cloudy weather and some rain before a mostly sunny Tuesday.
