That’s the latest forecast for this weekend’s weather for Bainbridge Island from the National Weather Service in Seattle.

Bad news: This week’s rainy weather will stretch into the weekend.

Good news: That’s about it.

Better take an umbrella to the Taste of Lynwood. Bainbridge will see a 50 percent chance of showers Saturday, and the day will stay mostly cloudy, with a high temperature near 64 degrees.

Showers are likely overnight Saturday (the chance of precipitation is 60 percent). It will be cloudy, with a low around 50. Forecasters say new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.

On Sunday, more showers are likely. It will be cloudy, with a high near 63. The chance of precipitation is 70 percent, and new precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch are possible.

The risk of showers remains through Sunday night. It will stay mostly cloudy, with the temperature dipping to a low around 48.

Come Monday, partly sunny weather returns to the forecast, with a high near 65.

Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be mostly sunny, with temperatures in the mid 60s.
