Weekend weather forecast: There could be snow | The Bainbridge Blab

Bainbridge Island might see some snow this weekend.

That’s the forecast for this weekend’s weather from the National Weather Service’s office in Seattle.

According to the latest forecast, islanders can expect more cold weather through the weekend.

Saturday comes with a 30 percent chance of snow after 4 p.m. The day is expected to be mostly cloudy, with a high near 37. Little or no snow accumulation is expected, however.

On Saturday night, there is a chance of rain and snow before 10 p.m., followed by a chance of rain or freezing rain.

The temperature is expected to drop to a low around 32 degrees.

On Sunday, rain – possibly mixed with freezing rain — is expected in the morning.

More rain is forecast through the day, which will see a high near 37. The chance of precipitation is 80 percent, and between a quarter and half of an inch is possible.

Rain is likely to continue through Sunday night, which will also see a low around 35.

Bainbridge should expect to see more rain in the coming week, with precipitation likely through the middle of the week.
