UPDATE | Winter snow hammers ferry service; service reduced on routes

Officials with Washington State Ferries said ferry sailings on several routes were being impacted late Monday by snow and worsening weather conditions.

On the Bainbridge Island-Seattle route, the run will operate on one-boat service after 11:35 p.m. Monday.

WSF said customers should expect some delays on the route throughout the evening.

The Edmonds-Kingston will also be reduced to one-boat service, with the No. 1 vessel operating for the rest of Monday night after the 6:10 p.m. sailing.

WSF said the 7 and 8:30 p.m. sailings out of Edmonds are cancelled, along with the 7:45 p.m. sailing out of Kingston.
