TRAVEL ADVISORY | One-hour wait for ferry to Seattle

Drivers departing Bainbridge Island are facing a one-hour wait at the Bainbridge ferry terminal Friday.

Washington State Ferries announced just before noon Friday, Dec. 28 that there is an estimated 60-minute wait for drivers leaving the island for Seattle.

WSF said the delay is due to heavy vehicle traffic boarding the vessels.

Sailings on the Bainbridge-Seattle route were late earlier Friday morning following an incident at the Bainbridge terminal that required a police response.
