Traffic on Highway 305 may be delayed for tree removal

Drivers on Highway 305 near Agate Pass Bridge can expect daytime delays later this week as work crews remove potentially hazard trees adjacent to the highway.

Traffic on the highway will be limited to one-way alternating traffic, and occasional stops on Thursday, March 21.

The Washington State Department of Transportation is advising drivers to plan for delays and add travel time to reach their destinations.

Crews will work on Bainbridge Island near Reitan Road northeast at Milepost 6.8; the work schedule is 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday, March 21.
