The Bainbridge Island City Council welcomed three new members to the dais at its first meeting of 2018.

The trio — voted into office in the November 2017 Election — were given the oath of office by City Clerk Christine Brown.

Joe Deets went first for the ceremonial swearing-in on Tuesday, followed by Rasham Nassar and Matthew Tirman.

Deets is the new North Ward councilman; Nassar will serve in a Central Ward seat on the city council; and Tirman will represent the South Ward.
