All women are invited to a pre-Oscars warm-up event presented by librarian and enthusiast John Fossett to Savvy Women Exchanging Relevant Views.

SWERV gathers for the program “Greatest Stars of Hollywood” at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, Feb. 13 at Filipino American Hall, 7566 High School Road.

First hired by Kitsap Regional Library to buy movies and music, Fossett tapped into his personal passion. Now, in a return engagement with SWERV, he’ll share a set of quantifiable criteria he has developed to help settle the perennial debate about which stars are the “greatest” actors.

He’ll share his method, discuss each star, and also make film recommendations to help you reach your own judgements.
