The southbound lane of Madison Avenue North will be closed from High School Road to Wyatt Way on Friday, April 26 due to a paving project, according to city officials.

The closure is expected from 7 a.m. until the early afternoon.

Drivers heading south along Madison Avenue at High School Road will be detoured to Grow Avenue and Wyatt Way.

The northbound lane of Madison Avenue will remain open with one lane and flaggers.

The sidewalk on the east side of Madison Avenue will be open for walkers.

The pavement project is being done to support utility work in the area for the nearby development projects along the Madison Avenue core.

Officials noted the work is not a city project.
