Spartan slugger signs to play for SMU

Bainbridge High senior Javier Ramirez signed a letter of intent Wednesday, Nov. 14, to play baseball at Saint Martin’s University.

Ramirez, a varsity pitcher for the Spartans, said he intends to study engineering while playing for the Saints.

Saint Martin’s University is a coed Catholic, liberal arts university in Lacey, Washington, which was founded in 1895 as an all-boys boarding school by monks of the Benedictine Order.
