Bainbridge Indivisible is hosting a screening of the documentary film “Plane Truths” this coming Saturday.

The movie will be shown at 7 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at Eagle Harbor Congregational Church, 105 Winslow Way West, Bainbridge Island.

“Plane Truths” is a documentary by award-winning filmmakers Mark Dworkin and Melissa Young, and the film examines community impacts of the Navy expansion in areas of the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula.

Organizers of the meeting will share information on the proposal to expand Navy training exercises in the area, and the filmmakers will be on hand to answer questions after the screening. Time will also be made for those wanting write comments to the Navy on this proposal while the comment period is open until March 23.

For more information go to the Navy’s website at https://navfac.navy.mil/NSOEA (Fact Sheet for Navy Special Operations at the bottom) and at http://westcoastactionalliance.org.

Refreshments will be provided, and donations are welcome.

Eagle Harbor Congregational Church is at 105 Winslow Way West.
