It’s just what the doctor ordered.

The Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group will host Dr. Todd Schneiderman as its guest speaker at the club’s meeting next week.

Schneiderman, an opthalmologist with more than 20 years of experience, will share details about the latest treatments dealing with vision loss.

Bainbridge VIPs are encouraged to bring their questions.

As always, volunteers will also be on hand to help with adaptive apps on members’ phones/tablets.

The next meeting of the Bainbridge Island Visually Impaired Persons Support Group is planned for 1 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 at the Bainbridge Public Library.
