There will be no rest right away for Bainbridge High Swimming Coach Sarah Bullock.

Bullock, who just completed the girls swimming and diving season with a trip to the state championships, will be serving as temporary coach of the Bainbridge High boys swimming and diving team.

Kaycee Taylor, athletic director at BHS and the coach who has guided the boys team in recent years, is taking leave for another season.

Taylor stepped aside last season after being diagnosed with cancer, and former girls swim coach Greg Colby stepped in to serve as temporary coach.

This season, Bullock will stay at the helm for the boys team until an interim coach can be hired for the 2016-2017 season.

A new hire is expected within a few weeks, Bullock said.
