Islanders honored at Carleton College

Two Bainbridge Island students were recognized at Carleton College’s 2019 Honors Convocation.

The event, a cherished Carleton tradition, was held May 31 and brought the campus community together to celebrate the academic accomplishments of Carleton students and faculty.

Riley Irish received the David John Field Prize, Phi Beta Kappa.

Sydney Goidel received the Larson International Fellowship.

Founded in 1866, Carleton College is a private, coeducational liberal arts college located in the historic river town of Northfield, Minnesota.
