Island couple celebrates golden anniversary

Steven Shelton and JoAnn Gail Trick are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary.

The pair were married on Oct. 28, 1967 at Mount Baker Presbyterian Church in Seattle.

After a few years of traveling they decided to make Bainbridge Island their home, where they have resided for the last 45 years. They have two children, Steven Mead and Crisann Lie, as well as a daughter-in-law, Kimberley, and a son-in-law, Erik. They have two granddaughters, Alexa Blair and Easson Winter.

Steve has recently retired from his profession as a fine woodworker, and JoAnn has retired from Northwest Resource Associates in Seattle after 20 years of service.

They are looking forward to more years of traveling and adventures together.
