Downed power lines force road closure near Rose Loop

Eagle Harbor Road is closed in the area of Rose Loop due to live power lines being down, according to a message sent out via the public alert system by the city of Bainbridge Island Monday.

The alert was issued just after 11 a.m., and the road was expected to be closed for one hour.

People are cautioned to avoid the area, though no power outages had yet been reported.
