Parker H. Costa graduated with academic honors and received his associate in arts degree on June 17, 2018 from Olympic College in Bremerton.

The new graduate is a 2016 graduate of Bainbridge High.

Costa, a member of the prestigious Phi Theta Kappa international honor society, also received an academic scholarship from the Rotary Club of Ballard and has been accepted into the Seattle Maritime Academy’s Marine Deck Technology program. Through this rigorous program, he will emerge with his Able Body Seaman certification affording him the ability to pursue his dream of one day becoming a captain for the Washington State Ferry system.
