Coast Guard: Plane crashes in Eagle Harbor with two aboard

The Coast Guard is responding to a report of a plane crash in Eagle Harbor with two people aboard.

The Coast Guard, on Twitter just before 5:30 p.m. Sunday, said it was responding to the crash, and that a good Samatarian had rescued one of the two people aboard the aircraft.

The other is missing.

A Coast Guard helicopter crew from Port Angeles and a boat from the Seattle Coast Guard station were en route to search for the missing person at 5:30 p.m. Sunday.
