The Bargain Boutique-Bainbridge Island will host a community celebration of its “Wall of Courage” exhibit from 2:30-5 p.m. Saturday, March 10 at the thrift store at 253 Winslow Way W.

Pictures of five more Bainbridge children who have been served by the Seattle Children’s Hospital, for which the Bargain Boutique store raises funds, will be mounted on the wall and their stories will be shared.

Michael Jensen, M.D., Director of the Ben Towne Center for Childhood Cancer Research at Seattle Children’s, also will speak about new research that has the potential to change the way pediatric cancer is treated, specifically without chemotherapy or radiation.

The event will include performances by Bainbridge High School student Carly Pearl-Sacks on cello and the Ovation! Performing Arts Academy Glee Show Choir.
