The city of Bainbridge Island is looking for a little advice from its younger residents.

The City Youth Advisory Council (formally the Mayor’s Youth Advisory Council) is now accepting applications.

The council advises and makes recommendations to the Bainbridge Island City Council and city staff on local government issues and those of particular interest to teens and young people.

Applications, which are available in the Bainbridge Youth Services office, are due Friday, Nov. 17.
