The Bainbridge Island Historical Museum will hold its annual meeting this weekend.

The get-together is planned for 1 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 10 at St. Barnabas Church.

In addition to a brief business meeting, the museum will feature:

• A new History Heroes program, honoring those who have made significant and lasting contributions to the fulfillment of the museum’s mission of “collecting, preserving and fostering knowledge of Bainbridge Island history.” The inaugural honorees are Kay Sakai Nakao, Lilly Kodama and Barbara and Reid Hansen.

• The meeting will close with an entertaining presentation by Ann Combs, local author and museum docent, entitled “Here’s the real history of Bainbridge Island.”

The museum’s annual meeting is open to all.
