Volunteers are needed at a First Wednesday Work Party with the Bainbridge Island Land Trust from 9 to 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 1 at Battle Point Spit.

Come support the nonprofit’s mission and help remove perennial pepperweed from the beautiful Battle Point Spit. Helpers should wear long sleeves and long pants, and bring a water bottle.
