Members of the Bainbridge Island City Council will host ward meetings in March.

Council ward meetings are the public’s chance to meet with elected officials to talk about neighborhood issues and broader community topics.

Ward meetings are intended to be a less formal setting than a council meeting, which allows for more of a conversation between community members and council members.

The ward meetings start with the North Ward. Mayor Kol Medina, Councilman Joe Deets and Councilman Ron Peltier will host the North Ward meeting at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 10 at Seabold Hall, 14450 Komedal Road NE.

The South Ward meeting with Councilwoman Sarah Blossom, Councilmember Matt Tirman and Peltier is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17 at Lynwood Theater, 4569 Lynwood Center Road NE.

The Central Ward meeting with Councilman Michael Scott, Councilwoman Rasham Nassar and Peltier is 10 a.m. Saturday, March 24 in council chambers at city hall.

For more information on the ward meetings, contact City Clerk Christine Brown at 206-780-8618.
