MONDAY, MARCH 20

9:18 a.m. A 62-year-old Bainbridge woman told police she met a man on an online dating website called “Senior Thing.” She said the man — she did not know his name, but he went by the moniker “Lovy Boat” — began sending packages to her home, but not in her name.

She told police she did not want to get any further text messages or phone calls from “Lovy Boat.” She also said she did not receive any threats from the man and didn’t feel threatened, but did not want to disclose any more details about her online relationship.

She was advised to contact her cellular phone service and have the man’s calls blocked.
