Bainbridge blotter | Thief has a ball

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

TUESDAY, OCT. 2

5:18 p.m. A person, or persons, yet unknown forced their way into a pasture on Island Center Road NE and stole a horse exercise ball while several of the animals were present.

The ball is about two feet in diameter, covered in a blue and red cloth, and worth about $150.

There are no suspects.

WEDNESDAY, OCT. 3

4:09 p.m. A bus carrying 10 student passengers was involved in an accident which resulted in no injuries.

The bus was turning west from Sunrise Drive onto Valley Road when it struck a 2013 Toyota Avalon, which was legally parked on the shoulder.

There were no injuries.
