Bainbridge blotter | Suspicion grows

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

MONDAY, OCT. 2

12:30 p.m. A 49-year-old Bremerton woman called police to report a weed service company had been maliciously spraying her property near Taylor Avenue.

The woman said the weed service had sprayed a large area of her property, which includes an organic garden.

She told police she is currently pursuing civil remedies against the service company, as in September they removed several plants from her property. They collected them in a white bag, she said, and though she’d asked them to leave the bag with her it was missing from her property the very next day.

She suspects the company took the bag to remove the evidence of their wrongdoing.

The woman said she has seen several suspicious vehicles around her house and is worried they may be related to the civil dispute.

A report was filed.
