THURSDAY, OCT. 31

7:30 a.m. A Poulsbo woman struck a deer while driving on Blakely Avenue, near Bucklin Hill Road.

She was not injured, though the damage threshold of her vehicle was met.

The woman had attempted to stop, but the deer reportedly jumped into the road too close and she didn’t have time to stop.

The deer limped away.
