Bainbridge blotter | Signs of vandalism

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

SATURDAY, SEPT. 28

9:55 a.m. A 53-year-old Bainbridge Island man, a Point White Drive resident, reported his “Private Beach – No Trespassing” signs had been torn down.

The man said sometime the night before, someone had damaged his fence and signs, two of which had been pulled down from the wooden pickets they were placed on.

He said similar things had occurred in the past, including once when somebody had put severed doll heads on the wooden pickets.

There are no suspects.

A report was filed.
