Bainbridge blotter | Shell shocked

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

FRIDAY, JUNE 1

1:59 p.m. A 42-year-old Bainbridge Island man’s car was egged.

The man told police his car, a Tesla Model S, which he keeps covered in a covered parking area, had previously been vandalized in April, when somebody had damaged the paint, though he did not report it.

The car had now been egged, he said, after which the vandal had put the cover back on the car. He had not driven it for about four days, and pieces of the car’s paint had come off when he removed the egg.

The man had no idea who might be damaging his car.

A report was filed.
