Bainbridge blotter | Road rage times two

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

SUNDAY, JAN. 28

7:06 p.m. A 47-year-old Bainbridge man said he was being followed by another driver in a pickup truck who was having road rage.

The man and the other driver, a 26-year-old man from Poulsbo, had both been driving south on Highway 305.

The Poulsbo man said he and the other driver kept cutting each other off, and they both had been trying to pass the other driver while preventing the other driver to get in front.

Police warned both men about their driving.

SATURDAY, FEB. 3

9:05 a.m. A resident on Ananda Place reported a hit-and-run accident. The resident said someone in a silver, boxy SUV hit a 2003 Buick Regal that was parked in the neighborhood but kept going.

A suspect vehicle was not found.
