Bainbridge blotter | Missing Mexican passport

Selected reports from the Bainbridge Island Police Department blotter.

THURSDAY, SEPT. 14

9:23 a.m. A 66-year-old woman reported her passport was missing, though she did not believe it had been stolen.

The woman came to the police station to report her Mexican passport, which she typically keeps in the same place every night, had gone missing “sometime in the last week.”

The woman admitted she may have lost it at the airport, and was advised to also contact the airport and Mexican consulate to see if anyone had mailed or turned it in there.

She did not know her passport number.
